India’s significant milestone: a huge drop in the new Corona case
New Delhi: India has crossed a significant milestone in the fight against the global epidemic. About seven months later, on January 12, 12,584 daily new cases were reported. That means very few cases have been registered.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the daily new case on June 18, 2020 was 12,881. On January 12, India’s active case dropped to 2,16,558. The share of active cases in total positive cases is 2.07%.
The total number of active cases recorded a decline of 5,968 in the last 24 hours. With rising recovery and a decline in new cases daily, India’s recovery number is close to 1.01 crore, the ministry said.
“The total number of recovery cases crossed 1.01 crore today, with a recovery rate of 96.49%. The gap between recovered cases and active cases continues to grow and is currently at 98,94,736, ”the statement said.
