On July 24, AICC general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala visited Tumkur.
KPCC president Salim Ahmed said that AICC general secretaries and Ranadeep Singh Surjewala, who is in charge of Karnataka, will visit Tumkur on July 24.
Salim Ahmed, who held a press conference at a private hotel in Tumkur, will visit Surjewala in the morning on 24 July. The meeting will be held under the aegis of all leaders, including strengthening the party through open discussion with leaders including the upcoming zilla panchayat, taluk panchayat, assembly elections and party affiliation.
KPCC president DK Sivakumar, former chief ministers Siddaramaiah, SR Patil, former deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwar, all kpcc secretaries and tumkur Chitradurga Davanagere kolar Chikkaballapur congress leaders,all ex MLA ,MP, block leaders and leading block president’s and secrtaries of these districts are expected to attend the event.
The press conference was attended by former deputy chief ministers Dr G Parameshwar, former MLA KN Rajanna, former minister TB Jayachandra, Kunigal MLA Ranganath, Chandrappa, Tumkur city ex MLA Rafeeq Ahmed and Shafi Ahmed congress leader Muralidhara halappa .
